We offer several employment and training programs to our clients to help them reach their education and career goals. The Workforce Innovation Fund allows us to provide enhanced supportive services in innovative ways, one of which being relocation assistance. We help with the job search process, the interview process, and the moving process, which includes a budget and planning phase to ensure the move is financially possible. We also help with education and certification activities through Career Pathways.
RELOCATED ON-THE-JOB INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (RL-OJI)
Relocated On-the-Job Internship Program (RL-OJI) – Is a program designed for clients to get acclimated to the worksite atmosphere. The worksite hires the participant, and we act as a mediator to help the participant adjust to the worksite’s policies. Participants can work up to 40 hours a week on this program.
Career Pathway Model – This program is designed to assist students enrolled in a specialized skill or trade who want to follow a career pathway model in order to earn the certificate/degree and/or technical competency needed to become more competitive in the workforce in high gross industries. The Career Pathways Specialist will work with both the client and technical school in customizing an educational career pathway model by researching job requirements needed to pursue a career choice. By participating in the career pathway model, the client may qualify for assistance with such things as, tuition, books, tutoring, bus passes, etc.
