Unified Voices:  Direct Access & Community Services

For over 40 years, the Inter-Tribal Council of Louisiana has strived to serve as one unified voice for Native Americans in Louisiana to achieve self-determination and basic human rights such as; healthcare, housing, employment, and education for tribal communities throughout the state.

We are currently funded through federal grants like the Workforce Innovations and Opportunity Act, Section 166, the Workforce Innovation Fund, the Senior Community Services Employment Program, and the Community Services Block Grant.

With the funds from these grants, we are able to provide employment and training services, supportive services, relocation-for-work assistance, and financial assistance to qualifying Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians living in Louisiana.
